Our programs are designed for artists of all ages and experience levels. From curious beginners to passionate creators, we make art accessible, joyful, and full of imagination.
Art Classes
At Colors Are Magic, artists dive into the creative process and explore their full artistic potential in a fun, supportive environment. Through engaging projects and guided instruction, students experiment with a wide variety of art materials, develop foundational skills, and build confidence in their creativity. By focusing on process rather than the product, giving young artists a safe space to create freely, take risks, and discover their unique artistic voice.

Designed for children ages 4 and up, our classes are offered after school and on Saturdays to fit your family’s schedule. Whether your child is just beginning their artistic journey or ready to grow their skills, our classes inspire them to think outside the box and unleash their imagination.
Open Studio & Events
Looking to learn a new craft or refresh your artistic skills? Colors Are Magic offers open studio hours where you can explore jewelry making, printmaking, collage, painting, and so much more. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your technique, our welcoming space is the perfect place for creativity to thrive.
Prefer a more guided experience? Check out our rotating workshops and special events, including Kids Night Out and Tween Night, held every third Saturday of the month. There’s always something creative happening—browse our studio calendar and come make something amazing with us!
Day Camp & Summer Camp
Looking for a creative way for your young artist to spend their day off from school? Colors Are Magic offers exciting art camps during school holidays and week-long sessions throughout the summer!
Designed for students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade, our camps provide a fun, hands-on environment where kids can explore their creativity through painting, sculpture, mixed media, and more. Each camp encourages self-expression, imagination, and artistic confidence while introducing a variety of materials and techniques.
It’s the perfect opportunity for young artists to discover new skills, make lasting memories, and experience the magic of creativity during their break!
Parties & Private Events
Looking for a unique way to celebrate your birthday or enjoy a mom’s night out? Colors Are Magic is the perfect place to host your next party! Our art-themed parties include all the instruction and supplies needed for your chosen activity. You pick the theme, bring the food and drinks, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Our parties are also a fantastic option for field trips, Girl Scout meetings, or other group events, offering a fun, creative experience for all ages. Let us help make your special event truly memorable!
Directions to OUR STUDIO
Our studio is located in Houston, Texas at First Industrial Studios within Sawyer Yards. We know it can be a bit tricky to find us, as our studio faces the railroad tracks on Winter Street. The best way to get to us is by entering the yards by Henderson Street via Crockett Street or by entering off Silver Street by Momentum Climbing Gym. There is available parking for visitors at Main Yard Parking located at 2101 Winter Street. If you find yourself parking at the parking lot on Edwards Street, take the breezeway and turn right to find us!
